Elderflower Mead - Lindisfarne
Elderflowers are little white or yellow clusters of flowers that emit a summery-sweet fragrance and flavour. The flowers essence is said to instil a sense of youthfulness, vigour, and restore inner strength. Lindisfarne Elderflower Mead is made from a vatted blend of honey, locally drawn water, fermented grape, neutral spirits and elderflower extracts.

The Elderflower helps to balance the natural sweetness of Mead to produce a drink which is a delight. Ideal as a gentle desert wine or to utilise for a refreshing, longer spritzer-style libation.
About the Meadery:
St. Aidan's Winery is the home of Lindisfarne alcohol; they make and bottle many different tipples on-site, including mead, rums, beers and wines. It is situated in the centre of Holy Island village adjacent to the marketplace. The showroom has been open to the public since 1968 and attracts over 200,000 visitors annually from all over the world.
